I am directing a cross-functional team of scientists and developers building Oracle Support. I also led science teams working on Oracle Code Assist.

Previously, I led applied science teams building GenAI and Agentic AI products (Amazon Quick, Bedrock Data Automation, Amazon Textract) at AWS.

I received my PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park where I worked on visual question answering, zero-shot learning, human-object interactions, and face analysis. My advisor was Prof. Rama Chellappa. I did internships at Salesforce Einstein AI, Amazon AWS AI, and SRI International where I had the pleasure of working with several excellent researchers. I completed my bachelor's and master's at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I did my master's thesis on estimating number of people in images of high density crowds under Prof. K. S. Venkatesh and Prof. Laxmidhar Behera.
